Hesap, reklam ve ölçüm

LeTa hesap açtırmaz; reklam, analiz veya uzaktan hata raporlama SDK'sı içermez. Reklam kimliği okumaz. Geliştiricinin sunucusuna uygulama kullanım geçmişi, PIN veya hata günlüğü göndermez. Aşağıdaki isteğe bağlı bağlantılar ilgili hizmetlere doğrudan gider; bu hizmetler IP adresinizi görebilir.

Kurulu uygulamalar ve içerik

Uygulama adları, simgeleri, favoriler, klasörler ve LeTa'dan açılan son uygulamalar cihazda işlenir. QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES izni kullanılmaz. İzin verirseniz Android TV sağlayıcısındaki içerik kartları okunur; kartların görselleri ilgili uygulamanın bildirdiği HTTPS sunucularından indirilip sınırlı önbellekte tutulur. Hava durumu ve konum

Hava durumu isteğe bağlıdır. Şehri elle seçebilir veya yaklaşık konum izniyle cihazın son bilinen konumundan bulmayı deneyebilirsiniz. İzin verilmezse elle seçim kullanılabilir. Şehir araması, adres çözümü ve bölgesel varsayılanlar (haber bölgesi gibi) cihazın Geocoder hizmetini kullanabilir. Tahmin için dört ondalıkla şehir koordinatları MET Norway hizmetine (api.met.no) HTTPS ile gönderilir; cihaz kimliği veya hesap gönderilmez. Hizmet IP adresi ve koordinatları kendi günlüklerinde tutabilir. Son tahmin cihazda önbelleğe alınır. Canlı hava duvar kâğıdı veya ekran koruyucusu da seçilen şehir bilgisini kullanır.

RSS, takvim ve döviz

Eklediğiniz HTTPS RSS/Atom ve internet takvimi adresleri, ilgili özellik açıkken doğrudan okunur. Özel kaynak bağlantıları cihazdaki ayrı uygulama deposunda, profil bazında tutulur; taşınabilir yedeklere eklenmez. Okunan haber ve takvim içerikleri kalıcı dosyaya yazılmaz. Döviz kartı ECB kaynaklı oranları Frankfurter üzerinden alır; ECB'nin yayımlamadığı para birimleri ExchangeRate-API'den (open.er-api.com) gelir. Haber kartının hazır kaynağı, bölgenize göre seçilen herkese açık Global Voices akışıdır (globalvoices.org). Bu hizmetler IP adresinizi görebilir. Kaynak adreslerinde bulunan erişim belirteçleri bağlantının parçası olarak yalnız ilgili sunucuya gönderilir.

İsteğe bağlı çevrim içi hizmetler

Bunlar yalnız gerektiren özelliği açtığınızda ya da kullandığınızda devreye girer. TV her hizmete HTTPS ile doğrudan bağlanır; hizmet IP adresinizi ve isteği görebilir ve bunları kendi politikasına göre işler.

Girdiğiniz anahtar ve belirteçler, Android'in anahtar deposunda duran bir anahtarla şifrelenerek saklanır, yalnız ait oldukları hizmete gönderilir ve taşınabilir yedeklere eklenmez.

Ev ağınız

Medya sunucuları (Jellyfin, Emby, Plex, Kodi), Home Assistant, ortam ışığı cihazları ve webhook'lar yalnız girdiğiniz adreslerde ve yalnız ilgili özellik kullanılırken bağlanılır. Düz HTTP yalnız ev ağınızdaki adreslere izinlidir; diğer tüm adresler HTTPS kullanmak zorundadır. Bunların parola, belirteç ve webhook adresleri de yukarıdaki anahtarlar gibi şifreli saklanır. Albüm ve kişisel video klasörlerine kalıcı okuma izni alınabilir; klasörü kaldırınca ilgili izin bırakılır. Kişisel medya geliştiriciye yüklenmez. Telefon düzenleyicisinde seçtiğiniz fotoğraf yerel ağ üzerinden TV'ye gelir.

İzinler ve cihaz göstergeleri

Wi-Fi/ağ ve Bluetooth izinleri bağlantı durumunu göstermek içindir; Bluetooth bağlantı izni gereken sistemlerde kullanıcıdan istenir. Home yönlendirmesi isteğe bağlıdır; cihaz destekliyorsa üzerinde gösterme izni ve ön plan hizmetiyle çalışır. Google Play'deki LeTa erişilebilirlik hizmeti kullanmaz. Yönlendirme yalnız sistemin Home tuşu sinyaline bakar ve TV'nin kendi ana ekranı açıldıysa LeTa'yı öne getirir; tuş basışlarını, ekran içeriğini ya da uygulama adlarını okumaz ve kaydetmez. Tanılama raporu için TV'de yalnız kısa ve özel bir kayıt tutar: LeTa'nın kendi öne gelişleri (zaman ve neden, en fazla 50); hiçbir şey göndermez. PIN, profiller ve yedekler

Ayarlar ve profiller uygulamanın özel deposundadır. Ebeveyn PIN'inin kendisi yerine rastgele tuzlu PBKDF2 doğrulama kaydı saklanır. Dosyaya dışa aktarma ve TV aktarımı sizin işleminizle başlar. Yerel ağ aktarımı

TV'den TV'ye yedek sekiz haneli tek kullanımlık koddan türetilen anahtarla AES-256-GCM olarak şifrelenir. Oturum beş dakika veya en fazla beş deneme ile sınırlıdır. Telefon düzenleyicisi rastgele bağlantılı, on dakikalık yerel HTTP oturumudur; bu bağlantı şifreli değildir. Aynı ağdaki trafik izlenirse içerik görülebilir. Her düzen önerisi uygulanmadan önce TV'de ayrıca onaylanır; pencere kapanınca oturum kapanır. Silme ve tanılama

Ayar sıfırlama, özel kaynak adreslerini de temizler. Tanılama dosyaları Android sürümünü, TV üreticisini/modelini ve içerik yayımlayan uygulamaların paket adlarını, sürümlerini ve kart sayılarını içerebilir.

Bu web sitesi (letalauncher.com)

Sitede çerez, analitik, reklam ya da takip kodu yoktur. Tarayıcınız yalnızca dil, ses ve sitede denediğiniz Dock görünümü tercihlerini kendi cihazınızda (localStorage) saklar; bunlar bize gönderilmez ve tarayıcı verilerini sildiğinizde kaybolur. Sitedeki tanıtım filmleri, görseller, yazı tipleri ve kodlar bu sitenin kendisinden yüklenir; YouTube gibi dış oynatıcılar, dış yazı tipi servisleri veya içerik ağları kullanılmaz. Site Netlify'da barındırılır; Netlify, barındırma sağlayıcısı olarak sayfa isteklerine ait bağlantı günlüklerini (IP adresi ve tarayıcı bilgisi gibi) kendi politikasına göre tutabilir.

Hava bölümünde bir şehir yazıp "Bak" dediğinizde, yazdığınız şehir adı konumu bulmak için Open-Meteo'ya (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com), bulunan yaklaşık koordinatlar da hava durumunu almak için MET Norway'e (api.met.no) gönderilir. Bu istekler doğrudan tarayıcınızdan yapılır; siz bir şehir aramadıkça hiçbir istek gönderilmez. Saat ve günün saatine göre değişen görünüm, tarayıcınızın saatiyle cihazınızda hesaplanır.

Çocuklar

LeTa Launcher — Privacy Policy

Accounts, advertising and measurement

LeTa does not require an account and contains no advertising, analytics or remote crash-reporting SDK. It does not read the advertising ID or send usage history, PINs or crash logs to the developer's server. The optional connections below contact their respective services directly; those services can see your IP address.

Installed applications and content

Application names, icons, favourites, folders and apps recently opened through LeTa are processed locally. QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES is not used. If you grant access, content cards from Android's TV provider are read locally. Their images are fetched from the HTTPS servers specified by the publishing apps and kept in a bounded cache. The phone editor, only when you start it, shows app names and Dock order to the phone participating in the local session. With that access (READ_TV_LISTINGS), Continue-watching, preview and channel/programme-guide entries are read on the device; optional preview videos are streamed from the HTTPS addresses the publishing apps specify.

Weather and location

Weather is optional. You can choose a city manually or grant approximate location permission to try finding it from the device's last known location. Manual selection remains available without permission. City search, address resolution and regional defaults (such as the news region) may use the device's Geocoder service. Forecast requests send city coordinates rounded to four decimals to MET Norway (api.met.no) over HTTPS, without a device identifier or account. The provider may log the IP address and coordinates. The latest forecast is cached on the device. A selected live-weather wallpaper or screen saver also uses the chosen city.

Feeds, calendars and currency

HTTPS RSS/Atom and internet-calendar addresses you enter are fetched directly while the feature is active. Private source links are stored separately in the app's private storage, per profile, and excluded from portable backups. Retrieved feed/calendar contents are not written to persistent files. The currency card retrieves ECB reference rates through Frankfurter; currencies the ECB does not publish come from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com). The news card's ready-made source is the public Global Voices feed (globalvoices.org) for your region. These services can see your IP address. Any access token contained in a source link is sent as part of the request only to its server.

Optional online services

These are used only after you turn on or open the feature that needs them. The TV contacts each service directly over HTTPS; the service can see your IP address and the request and handles it under its own policy.

Keys and tokens you enter are stored encrypted with a key held in Android's keystore, are sent only to their own service and are excluded from portable backups.

Your home network

Media servers (Jellyfin, Emby, Plex, Kodi), Home Assistant, ambient-light devices and webhooks are contacted only at the addresses you enter and only while their feature is in use. Plain HTTP is allowed only for addresses on your home network; every other address must use HTTPS. Their passwords, tokens and webhook addresses are stored encrypted like the keys above. On Android 17 and later, these features, the phone editor, file receiving and TV transfer need the local network permission (ACCESS_LOCAL_NETWORK); it is requested during setup or when a feature is first used. If you use an http:// address on your home network, passwords and access tokens travel unencrypted; use HTTPS where you can. Jellyfin and Emby: your user name and password are sent once, only to your own server, and only the token it returns is stored; removing the server signs LeTa out there. Kodi: an optional user name and password are stored encrypted and sent to Kodi with each request. Home Assistant: commands are sent only when you choose them; risky ones such as locks, covers, valves and sirens also require confirmation and the PIN. Webhooks are off by default and go only to addresses on your allow list (HTTPS for public Internet addresses; HTTP is also possible on your home network), only when you trigger an action.

Photos, video and icons

You select documents through Android's picker. Custom wallpaper and icons are resized and copied to private app storage. Album and personal-video folders may retain an Android read grant; removing a folder releases its grant. Personal media is not uploaded to the developer. A picture selected in the phone editor is sent to the TV over the local network.

Permissions and device indicators

Network/Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permissions support connection indicators. Bluetooth connection permission is requested on systems that require it. Home redirection is optional and uses overlay access and a foreground service where supported. LeTa on Google Play does not use an accessibility service. Redirection only listens for the system's Home button signal and brings LeTa to the front if the TV's own home opened; it does not read or record button presses, screen content or app names. For the diagnostics report it keeps only a short private record on the TV: LeTa's own returns to the front (time and reason, at most 50); it sends nothing. If you enable notification access, notification titles/text and active media sessions can be displayed locally; revoking access clears that in-memory information. LeTa does not request WRITE_SETTINGS. Uninstall in LeTa's menus opens Android's own confirmation (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES); LeTa never removes an app by itself. Granting overlay access never switches redirection on by itself: it is turned on only by your choice (if the permission was granted some other way, LeTa asks once). Its foreground service restarts after boot or an update only if redirection is on.

LeTa Pro and in-app purchase

LeTa Pro is an optional one-time purchase through Google Play. Google Play processes the payment: LeTa never sees or stores your card, payment or billing details, and the purchase runs through your Google account under Google's privacy policy. Through the Google Play Billing library LeTa only asks for the product's price and your purchase status and has Google Play acknowledge the purchase; it sends no account ID or other identifier. The billing library may send its own technical logs (for example error codes) straight to Google; they are covered by Google's privacy policy and never reach the developer. On the TV, in the app's private storage, LeTa keeps only whether Pro is on, whether a payment is pending and whether the notice that Pro was turned off is still to be shown; for the 30-second live trial, also which scenario is being tried, the scenario to return to afterwards and the day each scenario or Pro setting was last tried (a Pro setting being tried stays in memory only and is never saved). None of this is sent to the developer or included in portable backups or profiles; the purchase is restored from Google Play with the same Google account. Refunds and cancellations follow Google Play's rules.

PIN, profiles and backups

Settings and profiles are stored privately on the device. A randomly salted PBKDF2 verification record is stored instead of the PIN itself. Exporting a file or starting TV transfer requires your action. Portable backups exclude PIN/security state, private source links and personal media files. Private recovery snapshots may contain device-local security and file references; these snapshots are not served outside app-private storage. Portable backups contain your settings, including the weather city and coordinates, recent apps and usage hours (if recording is on), Pexels favourites, smart-home selections and the TV model name; they exclude keys, tokens and private server addresses.

Local network transfers

TV-to-TV backups use AES-256-GCM with a key derived from an eight-digit, one-time pairing code. Sessions last at most five minutes or five attempts. The phone editor uses a random link and a ten-minute local HTTP session. This connection is not encrypted: someone monitoring the network traffic could see its contents. Each proposed change also requires approval on the TV. Closing the editor closes the session. Receiving a picture or video from a phone works the same way: while that screen is open, LeTa serves a one-time page at a random address on your home network over plain HTTP, and a file is accepted only after you approve it on the TV; closing the screen ends it. During TV transfer the sending TV appears on the local network as "LeTa" plus its model name, and it listens only on its own local network address and answers only devices on the same local network. The phone editor shows the phone app names and package identifiers (locked apps excluded), the Dock order and the editable setting values; the receive-from-phone page shows the TV's manufacturer and model.

Deletion and diagnostics

Resetting settings also clears private source links. Uninstalling LeTa removes its private data. Backup and diagnostic files you exported to Downloads may remain and can be deleted separately. Crash records and performance counters remain on the device. Diagnostic files are created only when requested and are not sent automatically. Notification and calendar contents are excluded from diagnostic reports. Diagnostic files may contain the Android version, the TV manufacturer/model and the package names, versions and card counts of apps that publish content.

This website (letalauncher.com)

The site has no cookies, analytics, ads or tracking code. Your browser only keeps your language, sound and the Dock look you tried on the site on your own device (localStorage); none of it is sent to us and it disappears when you clear your browser data. The site's films, images, fonts and code are all loaded from the site itself; no external players such as YouTube, font services or content networks are used. The site is hosted on Netlify; as the hosting provider, Netlify may keep connection logs of page requests (such as IP address and browser details) under its own policy.

When you type a city in the weather section and press "Look", the city name is sent to Open-Meteo (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) to find it, and the approximate coordinates are sent to MET Norway (api.met.no) to fetch the weather. These requests go straight from your browser, and nothing is sent unless you search for a city. The time-of-day look is worked out on your device from your browser's clock.

If you send feedback or a contact message through the site's "Write to us" window, the details you enter (such as name, email, topic and message) are passed to us through Netlify Forms and used only to reply to you or answer your request. The forms are optional; to have your details removed, just write to contact@letalauncher.com.

Children

LeTa is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents can limit use with the PIN, guest mode and app locks.
